Navigating the physical, emotional, mental, and relational challenges of becoming a mom can be extremely isolating. After having her son in September 2018, Renee was so surprised by all the things she was experiencing that no one had prepared her for and that no one ever talks about. After sharing her experiences and feelings (with friends and on social media), she learned that so many women experience the same things and feel the exact same way.

Renee finished her PhD in psychology in March 2020, just days before quarantine started. While in quarantine with her toddler she gained a large following on TikTok with her mom-related content and started The Mom Room Podcast to allow for deeper conversations about all things motherhood. The Mom Room Podcast has become an educational resource, source of entertainment and inspiration for moms around the world.
The Mom Room Podcast presents a no bullshit, real-life image of motherhood that moms can actually relate to and take comfort in.

Renee wants moms around the world to listen to The Mom Room Podcast and feel a sense of empowerment in being a mom. Renee wants to help moms acknowledge and validate their feelings and to inspire moms to start conversations with their partners that they otherwise wouldn’t have. Renee wants to help ease the dreaded mom guilt and help to end the mom vs. mom shaming.
